TPS65988: Switching Timing for Fast Role Swap

Dear Team,

Could you please help to provide the details about the source/sink switching timing when doing the fast role swap?

It would be great if we can have such application note that includes more details how and when PD control the internal and external switch.

Hi Jim,

The team is currently working on an App Note to discuss this matter. The TPS65988 would disable the sink path as soon as the CC short is processed to indicate an FRS event. The source path would be enabled when VBUS reaches VSafe5VMax per the PD Spec.
