looking for the instruction on how the eye diagram is being generated . I want to check the Eye diagram quality by myself PC software.Then my customer can test signal if he can not get a Image signal clearly

The general procedure is:

• Enable dedicated EyeScan input samplers, and generate an error when the value sampled differs from the normal data sample. EyeScan errors are accumulated in the BERT counter.
• Apply a voltage offset to the dedicated EyeScan input samplers, this is the eye height.
• For the particular voltage offset, apply a phase offset to adjust the point in the eye that the dedicated EyeScan data samples are taken, this is the eye width.
• Reset the error counter to remove any false errors accumulated as a result of the voltage or phase offset adjustments.
• Run in this state for a period of time, periodically checking to see if any errors have occurred.
• When errors have occurred at a particular voltage and phase offset, change voltage and/or phase offset, and repeat.

We provide the EyeScan SW to our customer, but unfortunately we can't provide the instruction for the customer to write their own EyeScan SW.

Can we provide the guideline for the register map? Normally, in other device, we can provide the detail register map introduction.

Please refer to the TMDS171 datasheet for the detailed description of the register. The datasheet provides Page 0 register information which is sufficient for device operation. Page 1 registers are for debugging purpose and would require an NDA before we can share it.
