TUSB8041A: Can TUSB8041A support SS/HS USB independent?

Hi Team,

Our customer platform can only support 1 HS and 1 SS, customer would like to check,

1. if only connect SS USB port, can TUSN8041 support HS device?

2. if they connect SS and HS port separate, can SS and HS hub work independently?

Hi Eddie,

TUSB8041 does not convert HS to SS. Therefore is only the SS is connected on the upstream side then HS devices should not be used. If both SS and HS are connected on the upstream then both SS and HS devices can work independently. What is the application that you are trying to achieve?
