Their system like monitor. They just want use Type C connector transfer HDMI signel. They use special cable
For PCB layout , They need Type C MUX support HDMI.
If they use HD3SS215 , The PCB layout will be complex.

HDMI over Type C spec only defines a USB Type C to HDMI cable as shown below, so if they define a connection that is from HDMI to Type C, it is outside the spec.
If they want to use TUSB564 with HDMI, then TUSB564 requires its input to be AC coupled. But with HDMI being a DC-coupled 3.3V, then they need to use an external termination network. But they also need an external FET switch to isolate the termination network when non-HDMI input is plugged into the Type C connector. On the output side, TUSB564 also requires AC caps, and they need to look at the HDMI RX to see if additional termination is needed.
Because we are using external termination, the HDMI source needs to be boost its swing amplitude to compensate this termination network.
