DS90UB953A-Q1: FPD-LINK III solution for 7.2Gbps 4-lane MIPI CSI-2

Hello TI:

We want to make an 8.3MP Automotive Camera module using FPD-LINK III. 

The CMOS Sensor is Onsemi's AR0820 with Data interface of 1.8 Gbps/Lane, 4-lane MIPI CSI-2.(4*1.8Gbps=7.2Gbps)

Please tell me if there are some proper FPD serializer and Deserializer for our situation.

    And from my point of view, both GMSL and FPD-LINK having its data rate about 4Gbps, if it is possible to use two FPD-LINK Serdes to bouble the datarate(like divide the one four-lane CSI-II into two slower four-lane CSI-II)?

    At this time we do not have support for such a situation. However I would consult your imager vendor for configuration of the sensor because although the maximum CSI-2 per-lane speed is 1.8Gbps/lane, depending on the frame rate and bit depth/format, your actual data rate may be much lower (it usually is). If you can confirm the true CSI lane speed for your configuration then I can let you know if we have a solution released.
