TPS65987DDJ: Asking for the TPS65987DCJ 4CC command DISC

Hi Team,
Would you please adivse what the scenario that can use 4CC command "DISC"? Once using 4CC "DISC", how to recover from this lock situation?
please refer to application note table 4-4.

Hi Scott,

The DISC 4CC command will force a disconnect on the Type-C port. The PD controller would automatically renegotiate the contract after the disconnect has completed.

Hi Scott,

The DISC command is included in the TPS65987DDJ code. You may be running into an issue with the GUI tool. Can you connect an I2C analyzer to see if the command is being sent correctly?

The DISC 4CC command is not yet available in the GUI. We are working on getting it added for the next released version.
