Hello,

DS92LV1212A is EOL status. We consider SN65LV1224B for alternative device. Is SN65LV1224B able to replace DS92LV1212A?

I think SERIALIZER and DE-SERIALIZER device is usually pair. I am wondering if DS92LV1212A  and SN65LV1224B formats are the same or compatible.

    Hello Watanabe-san,

    Yes; the function and formats of SN65LV1224B are compatible with DS92LV1212A. SN65LV1224B can replace DS92LV1212A in most applications. However, the 2 devices are not identical and there are some differences. Please refer to the app note " Migrating from DS92LV1021A/DS92LV1212A 10-bit SerDes to SN65LV1023A/SN65LV1224": www.ti.com/.../SLLA435 for details.
