DP83TC811EVM: about DP83TC811EVM connect to internet

Actually, first when I connect both of EVM, I can not link the to computer  ,I suspect both of EVM use some physical ID , so I changed one of EVM 82811 and 83822 physical ID , then connect again , the computer shows linking , but the final information is "local network is limited or can not link "

Few Questions:

1. What's the interface you are using RGMII or MII  ?

2. Few resistors ( Strap, RBIAS ) needs to be 1%. Have you taken care of it ?

Do you see clock coming out of RX_CLK ?

   Mr Geet Modi, I totally accrording DP83TC811EVM schematic  so I use RGMII interface , regarding for  Strap, RBIAS resistor , I will measure them and change them to meet 1% . for  RX_CLK, I will measure them and show to you .

      Modi , I am sure the srap ,RBIAS resistor are 1% and within the requirement , I laos measured TX_CLK and RX_CLK, both of signals are 25MHz  clock, but unfortnatly , except both of clock signal , others signal such as TX_D(3:0), RX(3:0), TX_EN, RX_EV---, have no any signal , the LED_0-1 ,the LED_1-1 signal only powered on , I can not guess the system enter which kind of mode .

     would you pls give me advice what it happened .

Please recheck the estore. I would have been stocked again.

I suggest you try first on the EVM and then see the differences between your board and EVM.

   finally, I found the root cause , for the RX_ER and CRS signal not with righ power up. now it is working with RJ45 communication .but when I want to use optical converter configuration , I someting confused me , I used sp83822IF IC , with strap configuration , in the datasheet , the COL should config with mode 2 or 3(ZHCSFD6A –AUGUST 2016–REVISED AUGUST 2016), which means ,FX_EN set as 1, but when I check below spec , I found the COL config as pull down .

does I am wrong ?
