TUSB542: IBIS files for Altium Designer

Hello,

I am currently currently working with Altium and its Signal Integrity analysis. However using IBIS files provided yields the following errors with this program:

I am not encoutering any problem with other IBIS files for other TI products. Am I doing something wrong here or its Altium Designer which is not compatible with the IBIS files provided?

we run it with ADS and didn't see any problem. do you follow instruction in the guide? or just Altium issue.

Hello,

yes, this is only an Altium Designer issue, as IBIS files for TUSB542 works fine also for me in ADS.
I was just curious to see preliminarly results with Altium Designer as working with ADS is a way more lenghtly process even if, obviously, it yields much better results. Since this is my first time working with Signal Integrity, may I ask you how to set equalization and de-emphasis settings for the MUX in ADS? On the guide is not written. Is it possible?
Or it's something I have to characterize on the physical prototype?

when you load TUSB542 IBIS model in ADS and unzip the file, there is default test bench. if you still have problem, pls let me know.
