TPS65987D: TPS65987 GPIO event - "GPIO enabled without Event"

Hi ,

Is a GPIO configured as output and mapped event is " output enabled without any event" would come up as soon as Vin 3V3 is there. I am not seeing anything on the pin when I configure it as output enabled without any event. Even after attaching type c I don't see anything on the pin. Please explain the function .

Hi Ali,

By default, the "Output enabled without any event" would cause the GPIO to be held low. If you would like it to go high, I would suggest setting the initial value to 0x1. This would make the GPIO go high immediately after the configuration has loaded onto the device after booting.

Hi Eric,

Where do I set the initial value to high? I have even programmed it inverted instead of direct map but still don't see anything.

Can you please give me steps to set initial value to high so it is programmed in and every time after system bootup and GPIO goes high.
