    Hi,

    The TPS65983B firmware is specially designed to support Intel Thunderbolt reference designs. All TPS659xx devices are supported by an application configuration tool that allows users to change and control PD device operation. The application configuration tool for TPS65983B is constrained to only allow configurations supported by the specific Thunderbolt reference designs. This means the only possible configurations for '83B are those shown in the tool.

    Other PD devices, such as TPS65987D, have a thunderbolt profile and an application configuration tool with an audio mode checkbox.
