TPS65987D: could we write single byte in 0x28 register

Hi team,

My customer is looking at writing the port config register, 0x28 with the 4 CC command and wondering if they could just write the byte of interest, rather than the full 7 byte. Is it possible to do this and any complication doing this?

Hi Sai,

This is not recommended. All other bytes would get set to 0x00 if they do not write the full contents of the register. It is recommended to write the full 7 bytes each time register 0x28 is written to.
