In TPS65988 spec, it allow the maximum current 600mA for VCONN.
But as I know from PD spec, it only require 1W (5V/200mA) for the active cable.
I feel confused that which one should my customer follow? 200mA or 600mA?

Hi Jim,
Some alternate mode adapters can require up to 6W per the PD spec. You can search for the VCONN Power field in Table 6-38 of the PD3.0 spec. The TPS65988 has the ability to provide up to 3W per port. The customer should design for the 600mA number.
