ALP EEPROM setup you are showing above is only for use with some of our old EVM like DS90UB925 and DS90UB926.
It's not for UB949 EDID programming. Please check UB949 EVM user guide. As shown below there's a socket U3 for an external EEPROM. You have to buy and populate it to test this. I show below the schematic from user guide
A EEPROM similar to the one in the link below should work
You need a separate EEPROM programmer and program this. It cannot be done through ALP.

Customer would like to program dump register "test.nrd" file of 949 and EDID table bin file to external EEPROM. How to combine register value and EDID table (bin file) to write into external EEPROM? Thank you.
