Hi Team,

How much dB would the DS110DF410 EQ gain setting vary from part to part for each setting ?

We are asked from our customer because they are facing error in some system using at fixed CTLE mode.

Hi Kawai-San,
This has not been characterized on DS110DF410 device. However, based on looking at some devices using the same process there could 3-4dB across VCC and temperature as well. Theoretically, we should use a fixed CTLE setting such that It would provide good HEO/VEO value with margin. So if there is a shift in CTLE setting it would cause a major issue.

Have you ever faced a problem due to this process variation of the CTLE gain when customer used in the fixed CTLE mode ?

Hi Kawai-San,

With adapt mode 0, I expect at cold gain would be higher versus ambient or hot. So the suggestion is to set adapt mode 0 CTLE settings at hot with about 0.5UI HEO and 200mV VEO. Then go to cold and I expect to see higher HEO and VEO.
