Hi Team,
Customer says that it can't be locked, if both of the DS90UB936 and DS90UB935 are in sync mode. And 936 is normal when using unsync mode. May I know what happened?
Thanks.

Hi Team,

1. It cannot be LOCK in synchronous mode, 936 MODE PIN is configured as follows:
The 935 MODE PIN is configured as follows:
2. In the case that the above synchronization mode cannot be locked, customer changes the 0X58 register of 936 to 0X5A (936 works in non-synchronous mode). At this time 935 does not change, 935 and 936 can be LOCK, and LOCK is stable.
3. Base on above 1 and 2, by modifying the 0X30 register of 935, and changing to 0X4A (935 also works in non-synchronous mode), at this time 935 and 936 can also be LOCK. And LOCK is very stable. The read/write front end SENSOR is also normal, and the video transmission is normal.
Summary: Both ends can be LOCK normally in non-synchronous mode, and the video is transmitted normally. In synchronous mode, it cannot be LOCK. Would you share me your suggestion?
Thanks.
Dear Sir,
We had the same issue,
936 mode pin is in mode#4, 935 mode pin is in mode#0
In the case that the above synchronization mode cannot be locked, customer changes the 0X58 register of 936 to 0X5A (936 works in non-synchronous mode). At this time 935 does not change, 935 and 936 can be LOCK, and LOCK is stable.
But we can't read/write front end SENSOR, we use in the STP mode, how to setting the 935/936 ?
Hello Vincent,
It looks like you have some Hardware issue. Please check the REFCLK connection to your DES. Also you need to check your PoC network and layout.
what is the value of the external clock on the 935 side and on the 936 side?
