LMH1297: Is LMH1297 pin compatible with LMH0397

we have LMH0397 currently on a prototype board and want to increase the incoming bit rate over 3Gbps.  Can we swap out the LMH0397 with a LMH1297 with no board modifications?

    Hi Brian,

    Yes you can swap these two devices. Please note for 12G SDI, trace from device to the BNC needs to be within 1-2 inches. At this data rate, parasitic has much more influence on device transient response. So after swapping these two devices check your 12G SDI rise/fall time and return loss.
