DS90UB954-Q1: Why does DS90UB954 often happen CABLE_FAULT

Hi TI team

I found a problem.

Every 2 seconds, I read the register RX_PORT_STS2 0x4E bit1(CABLE_FAULT), that is often 1.

But my cable is connected tightly.

What is the reason?

What hardware is being used here? TI EVMs or custom hardware?

It is custom hardware, not EVM.

Hello,

It sounds like there may be a problem with the high speed channel. I would suggest running the MAP tool using our ALP GUI to diagnose an issue with your high speed channel setup on your custom board.

By connecting an Aardvark with I2C to your board, you can interface with the ALP GUI as if you were using an EVM.

I found the CABLE_FAULT happened when read and write i2c at the same time via DS90UB954 fpdlink.

Is there any restrictions about this?
