I am designing a board with a TPS65981 part with a W25Q80DVSNIG SPI FLASH configuration memory and Aardvark SPI header attached. It is my plan and understanding that in order to configure the TPS65981 part, I can use the TPS65981 application customization 5.13 software tool I downloaded from the TI site to generate a customized TPS65981 configuration file. I can then connect the Aardvark SPI adapter to the SPI header on board and load the generated custom configuration file to the SPI FLASH memory using the TPS65981 application customization 5.13 software tool. No other special software is needed for the TI software tool to access the Aardvark driver to load the configuration file to SPI FLASH? Once this is complete, I can remove the Aardvark adapter and power cycle the board and the TPS65981 part will load the application code from SPI FLASH automatically and self configure. Is this all a valid approach or am I missing anything?
