Sorry to bother you.

1. Does DP83867 need to burn FW?
2. Does DP83867 need to burn MAC? How to burn MAC if needed?

Hi Shu-Cheng,

DP83867 does not require FW. However, it needs to be strapped properly depending on your application. See datasheet section 8.5.1 for how to strap the device into desired modes.

Regarding the MAC part, is it the application of the datasheet as shown below?

In our architecture MAC should be in the FPGA. so DP83867 does not need to burn MAC?

What do you mean by "burn MAC"?

DP83867 can be configured to either RGMII or SGMII by hardware configuration as described in datasheet.
