TUSB1064: Question about TUSB1064 internal caps value

Part Number: TUSB1064
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB1044

Hi team,

My customer is developing a project based on TUSB1064 and they are choosing the caps value on the TX path and RX path. I saw some description in another E2E thread as below:

https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface/f/138/t/724790?TUSB1044-About-Tx-and-Rx-AC-Coupling

In that thread, we can see that TUSB1044 has internal 220nF caps following the internal driver. So my question is:

1. Is the internal caps value of TUSB1064 totally the same with TUSB1044?

2. Do we have any description of the internal caps in the TUSB1064 datasheet?

3. Do we have a block diagram of TUSB1064 connection between host and device just like the above TUSB1044 figure? If we don't have, can we use the above TUSB1044 figure as a reference?

Thanks

Best regards,

Wayne

TUSB1044 and TUSB1064 do not have internal capacitors, all caps are placed externally.

Please see the block diagram for the capacitors placement and min/max requirement. The capacitors placement applies to both TUSB1044 and TUSB1064. TUSB1044 can be used in both source and sink application while TUSB1064 is only used in sink application.

    Thanks
