Hi Team,

Would it be possible to provide a sample configuration code to get a checkerboard (or any sample pattern) working on the 941AS? Output is dual FPD-Link to a 948 deserializer. Ideally the sample code will be similar to what is provided in section 8.4.5.2 of the datasheet, but for pattern generation.

Hi Casey,

Thank you for the note! Are there any pre-configurations that should be performed related to the 941AS before applying the pattern generation? For example, should DSI be disabled? Or does I2C pass through need to be enabled? The example code below from the 941AS datasheet includes some basic commands that might be needed to get the 941AS in the proper setup to allow pattern generation.

Hey Jared,

If you are using internal PATGEN then you don't need to configure anything. The endpoint should automatically get detected and will set single/dual mode automatically. It doesn't matter if DSI is enabled or disabled either since PATGEN overwrites the DSI source when enabled with internal timing.
