Dear sir,

Now I'd like to find the bridge IC, which converts USB3.1 to others.

For example, USB3.1 to SATA, PCIe, etc...

It is OK if the converted communication speed can not be reached the spec of USB3.1 SS+.

And I'd like to find the VBUS controller for USB3.1.

If TI has recommended one, could you please teach me?

It has no problem USB3.1 bridge IC and VBUS controller are separated.

Hello,
Here is a 3.0 to SATA bridge. We do not have a USB 3.1 to SATA bridge.

As far as the VBUS controller, that is a separate question for Power Delivery. I would ask the Power Management team.

Sorry for my shortaged study, Is USB3.1 able to use same interface as USB3.0 in general?
(The main differency between USB3.0 and USB 3.1 is communication protocol, but not physical interface, in my reccognization.
A device which suppoerts not USB3.1 but USB3.0, can it use USB3.1?)

About VBUS control, the VBUS on USB3.1 can be handle 100W (20V/5A max) it comes from USB PD.
I'd like to find a VBUS controller which is adopted USB PD/VBUS on USB3.1.

Hello,

The physical interface is the same but the device will only do 5Gbps, not the 10Gbps that USB 3.1 is capable of. USB 3.1 devices are compatible with USB 3.0 devices, but you will not get USB 3.1 speeds.

Again, for the VBUS control, this is a separate question that is best answered by the Power Management team linked in my above response.

USB3.0 is replaced as USB3.1 Gen 1, which is 5G, while USB3.1 Gen 2 is 10G. The USB to SATA bridge solution will only support USB3.1 Gen 1 or USB3.0.

For PD controller that supports 20V, please take a look at TPS6598x family.
