PCA9306: PCA9306 Vref1=1.5V and Vref2=3.3V

Hello,

 

My customer would like to use PCA9306 to interface 1.5V I2C and 3.3V I2C.

However, since the datasheet does not specify Vref1=1.5V case.

Can PCA9306 be used for Vref1=1.5V and Vref2=3.3V case with no issue?

    Hirano-san,

    Yes, VREF1 = 1.5 V and VREF2 = 3.3 V can be supported by the PCA9306 without issue. The datasheet lists a few common configurations for reference, but the device is able to support voltage translation for any cases with VREF1 > 1.2 V and VREF1 + 0.6 V < VREF2 < 5.5 V.
