TFP410: YCbCr to HDMI Bridge

Hi,

My customer is looking for a solution to bridge from 8-bit YCbCr 4:2:2 parallel video with separated syncs from an FPD-Link deserializer to HDMI (no audio). Would the TFP410 be the best solution for the HDMI video portion? If so, what would be the recommended solution for the YCbCr conversion to a format compatible with the TFP410?

    Hi Antonio,

    The TFP410 can be used for RGB (not YCbCr) to HDMI conversion (no audio). For YCbCr to RGB conversion I believe you will need a processor like the THS8200, but this part seems to be NRND. I will go ahead and move this thread to the processor forum for more suggestions on that conversion.
