For the 947 serializer, in order to evaluate the FPD-Link, there is a diagram in the datasheet that shows how to take the appropriate measurements:
However, in the 941AS datasheet, the diagram seems to have changed:
Can you please help me understand why the two diagrams are different. It looks like 947 is taken differentially while 941AS is taken single-ended, but why is that?
