Hi, Team,

We have questions for the crystal.

1. Is feedback resister not required? Please let us know the inside PU/PD register value of the IC.

2. The XI pin is 3.3V, right?

    Hi Satoshi-san,

    Are you asking about the current limiting resistor, R1? It depends on the the power handling capacity of the crystal. A high value resistor which is usually connected across XI and XO pin is not required for DP83825.

    XI pin is tied to VDDIO. This is important when external oscillator is used. The oscillator should be connected to the same voltage as VDDIO of the PHY.
