Hi Sirs,

As discussed before.

Does  LT1030 could  be used with the SN75188?

We use RS-232 Driver, how do I need to connect ON/OFF and STROBE?

    Shu-Cheng,

    Yes, you can use LT1030 to replace SN75188. Both are RS-232 drivers. You can leave STROBE bar pin open if you don't need to use it. For ON/OFF it's a little bit inconvenient. You need to connect it to a 5V (up to 10V). If you don't have a 5V rail available, you may need to generate a proper voltage from 12V rail. Please let me know if you have more questions.
