Dear team,
When the customers test DP83TC811S-Q1, they encounter one problem, and the description is as below,
Background: They have two boards, and both use DP83TC811S-Q1 to communicate. One is set to Master, and the other is set to Slave.
1. When the T1 cable of the two board is connected and powered on, the link cannot be connected after the master-slave mode is configured. When disconnect the cable and then connect it again, the PHY works normally, and the communication is normal.
2. After investigation, it is found that the above problem can be reproduced when the two boards are grounded together with different power supply. If the two boards are grounded separately, and the network cable is always connected without any problem, and can be linked and communicated normally.
3. Does this device have special requirements for power-on timing and reset? The current power-up sequence is ETH_VDDIO takes precedence over ETH_VDDA. The RESET operation is not performed after power-on in the program. The EN and WAKE pins are pulled up to VDDIO by default. The detailed schematic is as below,
Could you please help solve this problem?
Thanks & Best Regards,
Sherry
