My customer consider using DP83848I and ET1100 for their EtherCAT application. but there are some issue. Please review below and let me know your opinion.
And Would you please review customer schematic? If possible, please let me know mail address, I will send customer schematic by e-mail.
- Application : Stepping Motor controller with EhterCat (DP83848I + ET1100)

- Their test board can link to upper controller but there is issue of Lost Frames error like below.
- Concept : 100BASE-TX, Full-Duplex, MII interface
According to the PHY Selection Guide of BECKOFF, As you can see the below table, DP83848 seems to have completed the Basic HW test. If possible, would you please share schematic, test result and related documents?
