Dear TI,

ZF TRW Automotive is looking for I2C - GPIO expander to support ADAS Camera applications, in that way I found TCA6408A-Q1 as an option but we have some size constraint with package.

Actually we are looking for 2 to 4 GPIO output IC's in small package, could you please suggest if any alternatives?

And, Is there any IC which could support both GPIO expansion and ADC conversion with I2C interface?

Hello Sundar,

Unfortunately I'm not aware of any devices that combine both a GPIO expander function along with ADC conversion. We do have smaller-package variants of TCA6408A available, but only the larger TSSOP version has gone through automotive qualification; am I correct in assuming this is required by your application?

Yes, this is a application requirement.

Let us know when/if 2/4-bit GPIO expander available in automotive grade.
