Dear TI experts,
We would like your help to review the schematic outlined below. BQ24392 is designed to be used in a gamepad product ,which draws power from USB port. We built 15,000 sets of hardware board based on this design and noticed there were 849pcs of them failed to draw power from computer USB port (the internal switch of BQ24392 simply switched off after DCD phase). I suspected that there could be some issues with the design, which lead to in consistence behavior among the boards. The table outlines below is the pin status of the non functional BQ24392 that were probed after it was connected to a usb port of a computer. The symptoms we observed were 1. small current is drawn from USB port, 2) PC does not recognize the usb device that is connected to it. We really appreciated if you could review our design and give some hints on resolving the issue. Thank very much.
Peter
