DS90UH929-Q1EVM: Does not lock after insertion and removal at HDMI cable

Our customer is considering DS90UH929-EVM and DS90UH940-EVM.

We have lock issue and details are here.
・DS90UH929-EVM

- DipSW
- S2(MODE_0):1(ON)/2-8(OFF)
- S3(IDx) :1(ON)/2-8(OFF)
- S6(MODE_1):1(ON)/2-8(OFF)

・DS90UH940-EVM

- DipSW
- S1(MODE_0):1(ON)/2-8(OFF)
- S2(MODE_1):1(ON)/2-8(OFF)
- S4(IDx) :1(ON)/2-8(OFF)


1. DS90UH940-EVM can lock the FPD-Link data, when we connect HDMI cable
to DS90UH929-EVM. The LOCK LED of DS90UH940-EVM wiltl be turned on.
* HDMI cable is carrying the 480P data.

2. After that we disconnect HDMI cacle from DS90UH929-EVM.
The LOCK LED will be turned off.

3. Then, we reconnect HDMI cacle to DS90UH929-EVM.
DS90UH940-EVM does not lock.
The LOCK LED will be flashing.
DS90UH940-EVM looks like it's repeating reset.
The recall rate is 100%.

Note. We doesn't reproduce it, when HDMI cable that is carrying the 720P data.

    Additional information: This issue did not reproduce with DS90UB929-EVM and DS90UH940-EVM.
                                         I guess this issue is involved only DS90UH929-EVM.

    And our current status is that we are in the very important connection test for this project now.

    I tested this with my setup, and I do not see the issue with EVM. 

    Could you provide a register dump of both devices when they are in good and bad condition? I would like to do a comparison.

    I re-confirmed the environment of this issue .
    This issue happened that we connect the HDMI cable with HDCP secure content.
    Ex) DVD and Blu-ray Player output.
    Especially, It happen when video is playing.

    It does not happen on the none HDCP secure content.
    Ex) Windows PC and BeagleBone HDMI Display output.
    Your test environment is also this. I guess.

    So, Could you re-test it on the DVD or Blu-ray Player?

    Note: It happened on UH949-UH940 too.

    This is only one set of register dumps. What's the condition for this set. are they taken when the lock is flickering?

    I need to have a good vs bad comparison.

    This is summary of our confirming.

    1. This issue occurs with a lot of DVD player.
    Player list is here.

    2. ISR(0xC7):[2](IS_AUTH_FAIL) is "1", when this issue happens.

    3. This issue does not reproduce, if turn 929 register 0xC3[0] to 1(HDCP_EN) before reconnect HDMI cable.

    4. This issue reproduce the combination of UH929/UH940 and UH949/UH940 too.

    HDCP key does not certified by DS90UH929/949 to right way.
    It is clear from this that the authentication module has some problem on DS90UH929/949.

    Could you please some comment about this?
