DP83TC811S-Q1: PMA test issue

hello,

I use dp83tc811evm to do PMA test, test mode 1 is enabled by setting:

begin
// enabling test mode 1
000D 0001
000E 0836
000D 4001
000E 2000
end

A 100ohm resistor is soldered between the connector pins (TRDP, TRD-), oscilloscope and differential probe are checked without issues. However, i don't see any difference after i enable test mode 1.

Could you let me know the possible reason and how to solve it? Thanks.

Hi,

How is your board setup ? Have you connected the Board to Tek Test Fixture as shown in user guide ? Can you share picture

Hi Geet,

The EVM is in the default setup, a high-speed differential probe is used (single-end probe is also tried, i don't see any difference). No TX_TCLK connection with scope, my purpose is to make sure the test mode 1 is enabled.

I don't have Tek Test Fixture in hand.
