  • Hi Law,

sorry we can't open your "dumped .txt file", it sounds these text include many 0x00...?

before replying your issue, pls let's know which customer is using it?

for your issue, pls note 948 can't change the DE mode or HV sync. mode output, it is programmed by MT2712 in your system. 941as/948 just is one pair SerDes to transmit the input video from MT2712 and output video to TCON but it can't change the video mode. for reg. 0x29, it should be set when you use the FRC function based on the MT2712 output video format (HV mode or DE mode).

    Steven

  • HI junqiang,

941's input is mipi,I think 941/948 need to parse mipi sync event to lvds DE/HS/VS. does MIPI-DSI have DE or HV packets?

I config MT2712 output continue clock, no-burst sync event mode.

  • And do you have the newest datasheet for 941, in TI.com the datasheet seems not intact, some register detail is missing, thanks

  • Hi, Lawrence,

    1. 941as can receiver 3 input modes which are specified in MIPI, including sync event, sync pulse and burst mode. for your issue, the DSI signal package is sent from MT, you need check it with SoC.

    2. sorry the d/s of 941as in website is last. what do you see any issue here or unclear here? thanks.

    Steven

  • Hi Steven,

    1. can you give us to table a proposal which information was wrong or missing in our mipi output?

Because of we can bringup the DE panel,so I think our mipi output from MT2712 contain the sync information,I don't know which point need we to check.

2.941as datasheet in website have no description for register 0x7E----0xFF

    Thanks

    B&R

    Enson

  • Enson,

    1. 941/948 is one bridge to transmit the input video signals from DSI port to OpenLDI output. In 948 side, it has no video timing re-gen., in 941as side, dependent on the input DSI timing mode from SoC, 941as can re-gen. input video timing. if SoC output is sync. pulse mode, 941as can recover it well, for sync. event mode, 941as can generate the video input timing with reg. setting. pls check DSI indirect reg. 0x20 in 941as d/s.

    2. yes, 7E and 0xFF are reserved, which do not impact your usage on 941as so these are NOT public.

    Rgrds,
