TPS65981: TPS65981 Support Spi flash

Hello,

We are bringing up a new board with a new SPI flash: MX25L4006EM1I-12G

We are having problems using the Host Configuration Tool and Application Tool to program this flash.  We can flash it but we get a "verification failed" message when programming.  We have programmed other SPI flashes using the same hardware setup and the same computer so we have ruled out Windows 10 and the hardware setup.

We wanted to check with you if you see any challenges with this particular SPI flash: 

MX25L4006EM1I-12G.

    Hi Jason,

    I don't see an issue with using this SPI Flash chip. We use the 8MB version of this part on the TPS65987EVM which boots in the same way from the SPI Flash. Have you only been seeing issues with this particular Flash? 

    I would suggest double checking that LDO_3V3 is enabled when you are attempting to flash the boards and that the SPI Flash chip is active.
