Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS90UB935-Q1
Hi team,
- What is the difference between those sync/ non-sync modes mentioned in the datasheet? Which is preferred normally?
- Do we provide Linux driver for DS90UB935-Q1 & DS90UB936-Q1?

Hi team,
Hello pengYu,
1) we do not provide Linux drivers. Actually you do not need any driver to work with these devices, all you need to do is just writing and reading few registers.
2) Back channel Synch mode is where you do not need any Oscillator on the camera. The Serializer will be getting the clock through the back channel from the Deserialzer and provide its side to the Imager. Using External clock mode you do need an oscillator on the Camera.
Also using Back channel synch mode you have the highest Back channel data rate (50Mbps) where using the non-synch mode the back channel data rate is max 10Mbps.
Hope this answers your questions.
