Hi team
If the TCAN4550-Q1 encounters a TX error during CAN communication, does the TCAN4550-Q1 automatically retry the TX?
Or should the MCU send the data back after checking the error with the SPI?

Charles,
You can configure the TCAN4550 to continuously re-send data that is detected as an transmit error. This is bit 6 in register 0x1018. This is the DAR bit, and if it is set to 0, messages that are detected as not transmitting correctly will be automatically re-transmitted until they are successfully sent. If the DAR bit is set to 1, then automatic re-transmission is disabled.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Regards,
