I have a question concerning the oscillator frequency of the TUSB8020B.
I guess that the external crystal passes through an internal PLL which produces the “real” USB3 clock frequency. Do you happen to know what the highest clock frequency is inside the part?
The reason I ask is to hear whether you have any FCC-compliance test reports to share for the EVM? I saw a few test reports from different manufacturers, which were stopping at 1GHz. I am struggling to see why these only extend to 1GHz and perhaps you may also be able to explain the rationale behind that measurement range.
In summary:
1. What is the highest clock frequency inside the TUSB8020B?
2. Is there an FCC compliance report for the TUSB8020B EVM?
3. Is there a reason some manufacturers only extend the FCC test reports to 1 GHz?
