May I know how to be a Host to generate I2C to control slave?

Is there a tool or guide to help to develop the firmware?

Hi Danny,

The Host Interface TRM document contains all of the register definitions of the TPS65988: http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slvubh2b/slvubh2b.pdf

You can use that document to create host firmware to control the TPS65988 through an external controller.

Hello~

Does TPS65988 which as a master I2C can read and write any bit of a slave I2C ?

Hi Danny,

When the TPS65988 is acting as an I2C master, it has write-only capabilities. It is not able to read from the I2C slave it is connected to.
