In DP83822I datasheet, it recommend like below :
But in reference board design, there is a 1M ohm resistor between XI and XO.
My board work well with or without this 1M resistor, and the crystal sinewave voltage have no notable difference with or without it.
My question is that do we need this 1M resistor in mass production?
