May I know TPS65987DDJ could be used for both of PC host side and docking side ?

or if use docking ,i have to change to use TPS65987DDH?

Hi Kai,

The TPS65987DDJ is recommended for TBT device and host designs. The below table highlights the differences better:

87D/88(DH) General Use	87D/88(DJ) Requires TI-pre-approval
FW features meant for broad adoption and support	FW features specific to Intel PC/Notebook and Thunderbolt reference designs

Hi Eric

Our end customer have use TPS65987DDJ to design for Intel whiskey lake platform without thunderbolt

I saw if design DDJ need to have document for reference

Could you kindly help to provide the GUI and document for DDJ version

or Should I change back to DDH ?
