DS90UB933-Q1: Is MODE pin connected directly to VDD_n(1.8V) without pull-up resistor ?

Hi team,

Customer wants to use DS90UB933 as PCLK from imager mode. In this case, the datasheet describes "MODE pin can be pulled up to VDD_n (1.8V) with a 10-kΩ resistor directly or use the ratio shown in Figure 18 and Table 2.". But, customer wants to connect MODE pin to VDD_n without pull-up resistor.

Is there any impact for system when MODE pin is connected to VDD_n without pull-up resistor?
