TMDS181: Asking for the recommendation on TMDS181 design

Hi Team,

Customer is using TMDS181. Would you please provide comments for these questions?

 

For better power consumption, customer will cut HDMI 1V2 when monitor into deep sleep mode. And also adjust R577 and R579 value from 13.3K ohm into 15K ohm.

 Questions:

  1. The Source can continue to drive the HDMI input while the TI re-timer is powered-off, e.g. reliability concern. Any impact of HDMI CTS?
  2. If customer operating with TI re-timer powered-off may create back drive current? Any impact?
