In the previous question (No. 17), I received the answer that “USB VBUS is used for Vbus detection and monitors Vbus power”. Is there any problem using the USB VBUS pin fixed at High? If the logic of the USB VBUS pin can not be fixed and used, please tell me the reason.

    Hi,

    USB Vbus pin should only be tied high if the upstream port is permanently attached. This signal effects the state of the TUSB9261 state machine and if always tied high when a device is not connected then some issues can occur.
