DS90UB940-Q1: Reset chip

Hi,

I use DS90UB940 as Deserializer and DS90UB925 as Serializer. The product is automotive MP5. Sometimes the screen is black. At the same time, I set this bit, DIGITAL RESET1. The screen returned normal. Could you please tell what's the possible reason to cause the DS90UB940 not working?

we need understand your issue more clearly:

1. what is the video format in your case?

2. how the back screen is generated? how frequent?

3. when the panel becomes black, can you test the 940 and 925's internal pattern respectively?

Hi Steven,

Thank you for your response.

1. The Video format is RGB

2. The back screen is generated randomly.

3. Tested the internal pattern. The result is the same.

The resent experiment shows that this issue is related to MP5 including DS90UB940. Could you please help review the schematic for me as attachment? Appreciated!!

what is the MP5? is it one board with 940 inside?

regarding the sch., it doesn't see any issue. one question is that: what is the failure rate in your test?
