DS90UB954-Q1: GPIO controller

Hi team, 

         Is it possbile that 954's GPIOs can be controlled by remote serializer such as 933? just like 954 can set BC_GPIO_CTLx registers to controll 933's GPIO.

    Yes, this is possible. Please see the register descriptions for GPIOs on both devices for configuration.

             Thank you for your kindly reply.

             After reading the datasheet for details, I found that it seems 933 is not able to do such control as showing:

              Does that means if we want to using serializer to control 954's GPIO, the only choice is changing remote serializer to 935 or 953?

    Hello Zingzhu,

    My apologies, I thought you were talking about 933 toggling 954's GPIOs with forward channel I2C access. You are correct that they can't be directly mapped over the forward channel between 933/954. If you want to map a forward channel GPIO like that then you would need to use 935/953.
