HD3SS3220 ID output low

When there is nothing connected to your type-c port, what is the voltage measured on cc 1 and cc 2? Also when you say UFP in DRP mode do you mean that you have Try.SNK preferred?

There seems to be something latching the voltage on the CC pin near the Rd voltage which indicates a device is present. Is there a ESD device or other components on the CC lines that could be latching the voltage >= 0.25V forcing the ID pin to always be low?

Hi, there are indeed esd devices. After I remove the ESD device, I don't insert the external TYPE-C data line. cc1 and cc2 are high level, but they are not very stable and are changing. After inserting CC1, CC2 becomes the first level. I use DRP mode, the external is host, but the ID pin is low when the external data line is not connected, and it is high after the access. Is this correct?

CC 1 and CC 2 will toggle when HD3SS3220 is configured to support accessory devices in UFP mode or in DRP (waiting for connection). What is the "first level" you mentioned in volts? ID should be asserted low when CC pin detected device attachment when port is a source (DFP), or dual-role (DRP) acting as source (DFP). Is a 200k pull up resistor to 5 V populated on your board?
