Hi,

I am using TFP410-EP serializer for RGB to DVI. Do I need to register at HDMI.org or any other similar websites in order to procure the IC?

You do not need to register to procure the IC.

Additionally, The TFP410 is not involved with EDID communication. It does not store the EDID data.

Hi wade,

Do we get the video signals on a DVI monitor if we do not use SDA ( DDC data) and SCL (DDC clock) lines?

Yes, it can.

The I2C interface can be disabled and some of default configuration is programmable with resistor pin strapping.

This is detailed in the datasheet.
