Dear team,

When use our device DP83TC811S-Q1, what's the requirements about the cable? For example, 

1. the cable need to be unshielded single twisted-pair cable

2.  The maximum internal resistance of the cable that cannot exceed?

3. The maximum cable loss of the cable that cannot exceed？

4. and so on...

Could you please help send the cable requirements to me?

    Hi Sherry,

    Cable parameters must meet IEEE 802.3bw and OPEN Alliance system requirements.

    Please go to IEEE Explorer and search for IEEE 802.3bw specification. 

    Cable can be unshielded or shielded.

    Impedance needs to be between 90 - 110 ohm (typ 100 ohm).

    Insertion loss, return loss, mode conversion, alien near and far-end crosstalk all have equations defined in the IEEE spec.

    Cable length 15m + 4 interconnects support required.
